  11. My apologies to anyone reading this post (more or less) twice, but I 
  12. thought I'd have more luck if I brought it out of the previous thread 
  13. (concerning zip drives).

  15. I have a gvp scsi controller that I am trying to get to work with a new 
  16. zip drive.  It appears that the problems I am having with the controller 
  17. is that the scsi chain is being terminated before it gets to any external 
  18. devices, and I have been advised to remove the termination from the scsi 
  19. controller itself, the on-board harddrive, or both.  Unfortunately, I 
  20. have not been able to locate my manual anywhere (four years of moving 
  21. back and forth to school.....), and I haven't been able to figure out 
  22. what to do just by looking at the board.

  24. So, does anyone have experience with this board and feel up to giving 
  25. some nice, step by step instructions?

  29.         GVP Impact Series II Hard-Disk+RAM-Card
  30.         Model A2000-HC811
  31.         gvpscsi.device version 4.5
  32.         board itself says:  Series II, Rev II
  33.         with a 120 meg Maxtor HD attached to the card
